Taijirō Gō was a Japanese composer born on February 17, 1907, in Dalian. He was known for composing school songs and various pieces for educational institutions. Notably, he created the school song for Nihon Sport University and the song for Hokkaido Imperial University’s Sakura Seikai. He was the nephew of novelist Genza Murai. Gō's contributions to music in Japan primarily revolved around educational and institutional compositions, showcasing his influence in the cultural landscape of Japan before his death on July 1, 1971.
