He served as the First Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from June 2023 to December 2023. Additionally, Singh Deo holds the title of the current titular Maharaja of Surguja, representing the royal lineage with historic significance. As the last mentor to occupy the throne of Surguja, he embodies a link to regional heritage and governance.
