Swami Prameyananda (April 1933 – 20 October 2011) was a prominent member of the Ramakrishna Order, holding the position of vice-president. Born as Ramgopal Bhattacharya in Bangladesh, he joined the Order in 1951 and progressed through various spiritual ranks, receiving Sannyasa in 1961. He served closely with Swami Vireshwarananda and later took on editorial and managerial roles within the Order. Notably, he granted mantra diksha to over 13,000 spiritual seekers before passing away on 20 October 2011, with many devotees attending his farewell.
