Svetlana Nikolayevna Shetrakova is a prominent figure in Russian cultural heritage, known for founding and directing the S. A. Yesenin Museum in Moscow until July 3, 2023. With over 40 years in museum work, she has significantly contributed to the study and popularization of poet Sergei Yesenin's legacy. She defended her PhD dissertation on Yesenin at Moscow State University in 1987. Shetrakova has received several honors, including the Medal of the Order for Services to the Fatherland and is a member of the International Council of Museums since 1997.
