Susan James is a former British javelin thrower born on September 8, 1955. She represented Wales and finished eighth at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch. Over the course of her career, she became the Welsh Champion three times consecutively from 1973 to 1975. On June 17, 1973, she achieved her personal best throw of 46.70 meters in Yeovil. James is recognized for her contributions to athletics in Wales, particularly in the javelin event.
