Susan C. Taylor is an American dermatologist and member of the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. She is notable for being the first African-American president of the American Academy of Dermatology. Taylor holds the Bernett L. Johnson, Jr., M.D. Professorship and serves as vice chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in her department. Raised in Philadelphia by a single mother, she earned a biology degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
