Susan Audé is a retired American television news anchor who worked at WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina. Born on October 31, 1952, she faced significant challenges after a car accident in 1974 left her in a wheelchair. Despite this, she pursued her education and established a career in television news starting in 1978 and retiring in 2006. She also engaged in theatre and public speaking. In 1995, she converted to the Baháʼí Faith, which she credits with expanding her understanding of society and religion.
