Stuart Parkinson was a British athlete born on 31 May 1929, known for his achievements in alpine skiing and bobsledding. He served as a lieutenant in the Royal Engineers and was a soldier in the 21 Special Air Service. Parkinson competed in the men's downhill event at the 1948 Winter Olympics and participated in both two-man and four-man bobsleigh events at the 1956 Winter Olympics, where he was also the flag bearer for Great Britain. In 1958, he won the inaugural Commonwealth Winter Games 2-man bob title alongside Christopher Williams.
