Steven (Steve) Wilson is a British rock guitarist born on May 30, 1967, in Dumfries, Scotland. Coming from a musical family, he began playing guitar at twelve and performed in metal bands during his teenage years, including with his younger brother, Ray Wilson. After a hiatus in music, he joined Guaranteed Pure in 1990, led by Ray. In 1999, Steve joined the hard rock band Cut, co-writing the album Millionairhead. He continues to support Ray's solo career, drawing on his art rock experiences, and plays electric, acoustic, and twelve-string guitars.
