Stefan Post is a German physician, scientist and professor specializing in surgery. He led the Surgical Clinic at Universitätsmedizin Mannheim from 1998 to 2018 and held the Chair of Surgery at the Mannheim Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University. His clinical and research focuses include surgical oncology, intestinal, liver, hernia and transplant surgery, as well as pancreatic diseases. Post has contributed to numerous publications and textbooks and has been active in various volunteer and professional positions. Since 2018, he has been retired.
