Stanko Bilinski was a Croatian mathematician and academician, born on April 22, 1909, in Našice and passing away on April 6, 1998, in Zagreb. He served as a professor at the University of Zagreb and was a fellow of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Notably, in 1960, he discovered the Bilinski dodecahedron, a variant of the rhombic dodecahedron, which rectified an earlier omission in the classification of convex polyhedra with congruent rhombic faces.
