He achieved significant success in sailing, including victories in the Volvo Ocean Race and Transpac races, and holds world records for nautical speed. As a pioneer in navigation technology, he founded Etak and Sportvision, creating innovations such as automotive navigation systems and TV graphics for sports. Honey was honored as U.S. Sailing’s Yachtsman of the Year in 2010 and has also served as the head coach for sailing in a Disney movie. He is an inductee of the National Sailing Hall of Fame.
