A graduate of Chulalongkorn University, she taught for eighteen years before committing to writing full-time. Her notable works include the novel 'Prasad Mued', which was adapted into a television series and film. Recognized for her contributions to literature, she received several awards, including the National Book Award and was named a National Artist in 1996. She passed away on April 16, 2013, from cerebrovascular disease.
