Sonja Irene Martinsson, born February 24, 1934, was a Swedish singer, musician, and songwriter known for being part of the folk group Göingeflickorna. She was the eldest of three sisters who formed the group Systrarna Norén in 1955. Their 1961 hit 'Kära mor' became their signature song. After one sister left in the 1970s, Sonja continued performing with her remaining sister. They always dressed in traditional folk costumes during performances. She was married to Olle Martinsson and had two sons, one of whom is a composer.
