Sŏl Myŏng-sun (May 25, 1936 - July 21, 2012) was a composer from North Korea. She learned music through her activities in the arts group during high school and later worked as a performer in the Korean People's Army propaganda unit. She became a composer for the Korean People's Army Symphony and held various leadership roles, composing pieces such as 'Song of General Kim Jong-il' and 'The carriage is running.' She was honored with titles like People's Artist and Labor Hero, and after her death, she was interred at the Patriotic Martyrs' Cemetery.
