Sofija Veiverytė (April 13, 1926 – July 23, 2009) was a notable Lithuanian and Soviet artist, as well as a professor of painting. She was recognized as a Honored Artist of the Lithuanian SSR in 1974, followed by being named a People's Artist of the Lithuanian SSR in 1976. In 1981, she received the State Prize of the USSR and was a two-time laureate of the State Prize of the Lithuanian SSR in 1973 and 1974. Additionally, she was awarded the Order of the White Star of Estonia.
