Sofia Bekatorou is a Greek sailing champion born on December 26, 1977, in Athens. She participated in over 470 major competitions, including the 2004 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal in the women's double-handed dinghy alongside her teammate Emilia Tsoulfa. After recovering from a serious back injury, she returned to competitions and secured a bronze medal in the skiff event at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
