Sjraar Peetjens (Venlo, December 21, 1922 - January 27, 2019) was a prominent interpreter of Venlo carnival songs. He began singing in 1947 and formed a duo with his brother Piet in the 1950s. Among his well-known songs is 'Och waas ik maar beej moder thoès gebleve'. In the 1960s, he was part of the quartet De Straotzengers. After a period of silence, he regained attention in 1996, collaborating with the band Minsekinder. His contributions included performances and a joint CD release. He continued to sing well into his 90s.
