Sixten Jansson was a Swedish canoeist born on January 12, 1913. He competed in the late 1930s and notably finished second in the K-2 1000 m final at the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin. However, his position was disputed as he was disqualified due to an incident where he bumped into the German canoe, which was manned by Ewald Tilker and Fritz Bondroit. His athletic career, while marked by this setback, remains a part of Swedish canoeing history.
