She gained recognition by winning the King’s Trophy at the Norwegian Championships in 1960 after setting a new championship record in long jump with a distance of 5.48 meters, surpassing her own record from the previous year. Falck-Jørgensen was affiliated with Høybråten and Stovner Idrettslag, and she won her first national medal, a silver, in 1957. She set a new national record on August 4, 1960, with a jump of 5.75 meters.
