Sirusho, born on January 7, 1987, in Yerevan, Armenia, is an Armenian pop singer and songwriter. Her real name is Siranush Harutyunyan. She began her television career at the age of seven and won an award for her song 'Lusabats' at nine. Sirusho gained international fame, performing in countries such as Russia, Iran, and Spain. She holds a degree in international relations from Yerevan University. Her debut album was released in 1999, followed by a second in 2005. She represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 and 2009, achieving fourth place in 2008.
