Sirimaṅgalo, born Thong Phromsen on September 21, 1923, is recognized as a prominent monk in Thailand. He held the title of Phra Phrommangkhon and was the first high-ranking monk of the Vipassana sect in the Thai Buddhist clergy. Sirimaṅgalo served as the abbot of Wat Phra That Si Chom Thong Worawihan and held various positions, including advisor to the ecclesiastical head of Region 7, abbot of Wat Mueang Mang, and abbot of Wat Rampheng (Tapotararam), as well as the ecclesiastical head of Hod District.
