Siri Forsmo is a Norwegian physician born on September 15, 1958, in Oslo. She is a professor of public health and served as the head of the Department of Public Health and Nursing at NTNU from 2013 to 2021. In 2021, she was appointed as the dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for the period 2021-2025. Her research focuses on the effects and consequences of screening and health examinations, osteoporosis, fractures, cancers, public health, nutrition, and lifestyle.
