Silviya Aleksandrova-Yankulovska is a Bulgarian physician specializing in bioethics and public health. She holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences and is a professor of social medicine and healthcare organization at the Medical University of Pleven. She conducted the first comprehensive national study on hospice activities and concepts of a 'good death' in Bulgaria (2005-2008). She also introduced clinical ethical case analysis methodologies and authored Bulgaria's first monograph on clinical ethical consultation (2015). She established the 'Bioethics Day' forum in Bulgaria in 2014.
