Sigurjón Kjartansson is an influential Icelandic writer and producer, known for his significant contributions to television and music. He co-created the series 'Katla' and served as the showrunner for 'Trapped'. He gained popularity through the radio duo Tvíhöfði and participated in the sketch comedy show Fóstbræður. A former lead guitarist and vocalist for the metal band HAM, he wrote the score for the cult film Sódóma Reykjavík. Kjartansson has developed numerous TV series and was Head of Development at RVK Studios until 2021.
