Siegfried Pflugfelder was a German politician of the CDU who served as the mayor of Kornwestheim from 1962 to 1982. He initially held the position of mayor and first deputy mayor from 1956 to 1962. Pflugfelder was known for his significant contributions to housing development and the establishment of commercial areas. He fostered cultural, sporting, and social life by initiating projects such as a new city library, a music center, and a swimming pool. He was honored as an honorary citizen of Kornwestheim in 1989, and a square was named after him in 2007.
