Siegfried Ellwanger, also known by his pseudonym S.E. Castan, was a Brazilian industrialist, writer, and Holocaust denialist who lived from September 30, 1928, to September 11, 2010. He founded Editora Revisão, which published books that distorted the history of the Holocaust, asserting that it did not occur. His works are classified as anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi. Ellwanger faced legal actions for his racist views, resulting in a conviction by the Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul that was upheld by the Federal Supreme Court in 2003.
