Shunryō Miura was a Japanese Shingon Buddhist monk and educator, born on January 5, 1913, in Ōita Prefecture. He served as the abbot of Tōji Temple's special temple, Hōbōji, and was the former principal of Rakunan High School and its affiliated junior high school. Additionally, he was the director of Saikyo Nursery School under the Tōji Gakuen educational institution. His contributions spanned both religious and educational sectors until his death on June 24, 2010.
