Shula Keshet is an Israeli political activist, businesswoman, feminist of Mizrahi descent, artist, educator, and publisher, born on August 2, 1959. She is a prominent figure in the struggle against the deportation of African asylum seekers in southern Tel Aviv. Keshet has led protests since 1980 against issues such as crime and noise in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood. She founded 'Beit Achoti' as a cultural and educational center and initiated various projects that empower marginalized women. Her art reflects her Mizrahi feminist identity, and she engages diverse women in storytelling.
