Shruti Nagvanshi is an Indian activist focusing on women's and children's rights, as well as advocating for marginalized groups such as Dalits and rural women. She co-founded the People's Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) in 1996, alongside her husband and other key figures. Additionally, she founded the Savitri Bai Phule Mahila Panchayat, a women's forum. Both Shruti and her husband converted to Buddhism, and she has been recognized for her efforts in promoting peace and preventing conflict driven by militaristic ideologies.
