Shrikrishna Janardan Joshi (1915-1989) was a Marathi novelist from Maharashtra, India. He vividly depicted Pune in his writings, portraying it as a center of Brahmin orthodoxy. Joshi authored several novels, short stories, and essays, including the award-winning novel Anandī Gopāl, which is a fictional account of the life of Anandī Gopāl Yoshi. This novel was later adapted into an award-winning play. He also wrote a biography titled 'Raghunathchi Bakhur' about RD Karve.
