Shirō Kitakami (September 3, 1904 - July 25, 1953) was an entomologist and mountaineer from Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He is particularly known for his taxonomic research on the family Amicidae and was the first to discover the larvae of Amica in Japan. His contributions to entomology, especially in classifying insects, are noteworthy.
