Shikhamir Gaflanov was a major in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. He was a hero of the Patriotic War and a martyr of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War, having served as the commander of the 'Bəbir' Special Forces Unit. Gaflanov participated in battles during the liberation of territories from Armenian occupation starting on September 27, 2020, and was known as 'Legendary Rambo' among his special forces team. He was killed in action on October 19, 2020, during fights in the Fuzuli direction.
