Sheldon Goldstein is an American theoretical physicist born on October 24, 1947, in Augusta, Georgia. He studied at Yeshiva University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and a Bachelor of Science in 1971, followed by a Ph.D. in Physics in 1973. Since 1977, he has been a professor at Rutgers University, focusing on the foundations of quantum mechanics and the development of the De-Broglie-Bohm theory. He collaborates with Detlef Dürr and is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
