Shaul Esh (Eschwege) was a Holocaust researcher, the first editor of Yad Vashem publications, and a senior lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Institute of Contemporary Jewry. He was among the first staff members of the institute and the first to teach about the Holocaust at the Hebrew University. Born on May 9, 1921, he made significant contributions to Holocaust education and research until his passing on April 2, 1968.
