Shantichitra, born on April 24, 1978, is an Indian academic and author known for her novel 'The Fractals' published in 2016, which was republished by Notion Press in 2018. Her second novel, 'Lonely Marriages,' also released in 2018, has positioned her uniquely in the genre of novels. Besides writing novels, she has contributed numerous short stories to newspapers and magazines and has published research papers in various literary and critical fields, including eventology and existentialism. Since 2012, she has been the head of the English department at SRM University in Chennai.
