Shadine van der Merwe, born on November 25, 1992, is a South African netball player. She competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games where her team finished fifth. In 2018, she joined the Surrey Storm in the UK Superleague and was part of South Africa's national team for the Commonwealth Games and the 2019 Netball World Cup. In May 2019, she transitioned to the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Australian Super Netball league as a replacement for an injured player. Currently, she is signed with the Manchester Thunder for the 2022-2023 season.
