Sergio Sartoff was an Italian officer and aviator born in Rome on December 4, 1913. He was decorated posthumously with the Gold Medal of Military Valor during World War II. He died on December 9, 1940, in North Africa. In honor of his contributions, the 14th Wing of the Italian Air Force is named after him, recognizing his bravery and sacrifice in service to the country.
