Seiichi Suzuki was a Japanese composer, born on March 16, 1901, and passed away on May 27, 1980. He is known for his symphonic suite, Impression de la montagne, which consists of three parts. Suzuki began composing for film in 1939, contributing music to Akira Kurosawa's first film, Sugata Sanshiro, in 1943, amongst others. His preferred instrument was the mandolin, and his significant works include various orchestral compositions and a selection of film scores spanning from the 1930s to the 1960s.
