Sang-Kyu Wie (1926 - 2008) was a prominent aerospace engineer from South Korea. He served as a professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Seoul National University and founded the Korean Society for Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he was the first president. A pioneering figure, he was recognized as South Korea's first Doctor of Aerospace Engineering and played a significant role in the advancement of space technology in the country.
