Samuel Rachlin is a Danish journalist and author born on January 12, 1947, in Pokrovsk, Soviet Union. He was forced to live in Siberia for 16 years before moving to Denmark at the age of nine. Rachlin worked as a correspondent for DR and became TV 2's first news anchor. In the 1990s, he joined the World Bank and later returned to TV 2 covering financial news. He has also served as the communication director at Saxo Bank since January 2007 and produced a documentary about his family's exile in Siberia. He co-founded CEPOS.
