Salvador Pigem i Serra was a Claretian religious from Vilobí d'Onyar, born on December 15, 1912. He was executed during the Spanish Civil War on August 13, 1936, by anarchist militiamen alongside his community members. Pigem was recognized as a martyr and beatified by the Catholic Church on October 25, 1992. Before his death, he had already received the minor order of Lectorate, indicating his dedication to the religious life.
