Salina Jebet Kosgei is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in marathons. She won the 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and the Paris Marathon in 2004 with a time of 2:24:29. In 2006, she obtained her personal best of 2:23:22 in Berlin Marathon. Kosgei has also won notable races such as the Lisbon Half Marathon, Singapore Marathon, and the Boston Marathon in 2009, finishing just one second ahead of the defending champion.
