Sadayoshi Horiguchi (February 1, 1914 - May 11, 2005) was a Japanese poet, bureaucrat, and businessman born in Kumagaya, Saitama. He studied at the First High School and graduated from Tokyo Imperial University's Faculty of Law. Horiguchi worked in various governmental and corporate roles, including positions in the Ministry of Finance and as a director of the Atomic Fuel Corporation. He received the Japan Poet Club Award in 1978 for his poetry and was honored with the Order of the Rising Sun, Third Class, in 1984. He served as the Japan Poet Club president from 1989 to 1991.
