Ryūta Iida (飯田 龍太; July 10, 1920 – February 25, 2007) was a Japanese haiku poet. He was associated with the traditional direction of haiku poetry alongside Mori Sumio (1919–2010). His works contributed to the evolution of haiku in Japan, maintaining its classical roots while possibly exploring new themes and expressions typical of the genre. His legacy remains influential in the field, inspiring future generations of poets.
