Ryūshū Takai (March 31, 1916 - May 18, 1999) was a Japanese Buddhist scholar and monk, notable for his contributions to the study of esoteric teachings within Buddhism. He served as a professor at Shuchiin University and was the head of the Chisan sect of Shingon Buddhism. Additionally, he was the 66th incumbent of Chii Temple and also held the position of the priest at Jobon Rendaiji Temple. His father was the 55th head of Chii Temple, and his father-in-law was the 54th head of the same temple.
