Rudi Oxenaar was a Dutch museum director born on November 25, 1925, in The Hague. He became the director of the Kröller-Müller Museum in 1963, succeeding Bram Hammacher, and served until his retirement in 1990, after which Evert van Straaten took over. He was also known as the older brother of Ootje Oxenaar, who lived from 1929 to 2017. Oxenaar's contributions to the museum field were significant during his tenure.
