Royston Webb Brooks, born on June 9, 1936, is a British electrical engineer and former air force officer, notable for being the last expatriate commanding officer of the Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (RHKAAF) from 1988 to 1990. He joined RHKAAF in 1971 and rose to the rank of wing commander. He has a robust engineering background, having advanced through positions at China Light and Power Company. Brooks played a vital role in various search and rescue missions and in transforming the RHKAAF into the Government Flying Service.
