Robert Cadzow 'Roy' Calder was a New Zealand diver born on 12 March 1904. He competed in the 1930 British Empire Games, where he had to withdraw from the high dive due to a back injury but managed to achieve fourth place in the springboard competition. Between 1926 and 1933, he won New Zealand diving championships annually, except in 1931. Calder passed away on 1 July 1976 and was interred in Andersons Bay Cemetery, Dunedin.
