Rosemund Dienye Green-Osahogulu is the first Vice-Chancellor of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education located in Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Born on April 12, 1956, in the Kingdom of Bonny, she was appointed in October 2013 by Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. In 2018, she published a harrowing account of her kidnapping and torture by kidnappers demanding ransom from the university's account. Her leadership role and experiences highlight significant challenges faced in higher education in Nigeria.
